A wide foot doesn't fit a last designed for an average foot, no matter how many sizes you go up. At Lejan we work with a genuinely wide last across the whole collection, plus the Wide version of the One® for anyone who needs even more room.

Why Lejan's wide last is different

Most “wide” shoes simply go up a size, which makes the shoe longer without giving your toes any real extra room. Our wide last is designed from scratch with more width across the metatarsal area, so your foot can spread naturally as you walk.

How to tell if you need a genuinely wide last

If you feel pressure on the sides of your foot, notice red marks at the end of the day or your toes overlap inside the shoe, it's a sign the last doesn't have the space your foot needs, whatever size you wear.

One® Wide or Melrose®: which one suits your foot best

Our whole collection is built on a wide last. For especially wide feet, the One® is also available in a Wide version, with an even roomier fit across the forefoot. The Melrose® keeps the standard wide last with a bolder presence in its silhouette.

What makes a real wide last different from a regular shoe in a bigger size?

Going up a size makes the shoe longer, but it doesn't give your toes more room where you actually need it. A real wide last is built with extra width in the forefoot from the design stage, not just extra length.

Does a wide last also help with bunions?

Do you offer a Wide version on top of the standard last?

What size should I choose if I have wide feet?
