Zero drop: the foot naturally aligned
The drop is the height difference between the heel and the toe of the shoe. In conventional footwear it can reach 12 mm. In our barefoot shoes it’s zero: heel and toe at the same level. That improves the body’s alignment, reduces the load on knees and hips and allows a more natural stride with every step.
A thin, flexible sole: more connection with the ground
A thick sole cushions impact, but it also blocks the information the ground gives the foot. Lejan’s thin, flexible sole lets the foot detect the terrain, activate the muscles naturally and improve balance and proprioception over time.
A wide last: real room for the toes

Are barefoot sneakers the same as barefoot shoes?
Yes, they’re the same type of footwear. "Sneakers" is simply the everyday way of referring to casual sports shoes, so barefoot sneakers and barefoot shoes describe exactly the same product: footwear with zero drop, a thin sole and a wide last that respects the foot’s natural movement.
Are they suitable for starting barefoot from scratch?
Yes, although the transition takes some time. If you’ve spent years in conventional footwear, the muscles of your foot aren’t used to working without cushioning. The best approach is to start with short spells and increase gradually. There’s no rush.
Are they for everyday wear or only for sport?
They’re shoes for everyday urban life: walking, working, moving around the city. They’re not designed for trail, road running or high-impact sport. Their strength is prolonged wear in everyday settings.
